Project overview

Driftly is an early-stage startup helping distributed teams cut down on meetings. They had a working prototype but no clear product experience. We designed the end-to-end app — recording, sharing, and replying — for desktop and mobile, ready for their public beta.

Project highlights

Recording starts in one click from anywhere on the desktop, with automatic transcripts, chapters, and AI summaries so viewers can skim a five-minute update in thirty seconds. Threaded video replies keep conversations together, and a focused inbox shows only what needs attention.

Challenges

Many people feel awkward on camera. We designed a gentle recording experience with screen-only mode, a countdown, and easy retakes, and tested it with 40 beta users to tune every moment that caused hesitation.
