Project Overview

Fresh Plumbing Behind a Brand New Bathroom.

A full bathroom renovation needed plumbing that matched the new layout. Gullwick set out the supply and waste runs, installed the new fixtures, and left the space ready for the finishing trades.

After the plumbing upgrade

A New Layout Needed a New Plumbing Plan.

The original pipework did not suit the new fixture positions, so the entire first fix was reworked before any tiling began.

The Challenge

  • Fixtures moved to new positions
  • Old waste runs set at the wrong falls
  • Limited access behind the stud wall
  • Tight schedule around other trades

“Everything was set out exactly where we needed it. The tiler walked in the next morning and could start straight away.”

First Fix and Second Fix, Handled Properly.

We reran the supply and waste pipework to suit the new layout, then returned after tiling to fit and commission every fixture.

The Solution

  • Reran hot and cold supply lines
  • Set correct falls on all waste runs
  • Installed basin, WC and shower set
  • Commissioned and leak tested the room

The Result

The bathroom was handed over on schedule with clean pipework, correct drainage falls, and no callbacks after completion.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Everything you need to know before booking your plumbing service.

How long does a project like this take?

Most domestic projects on this scale run between two and five working days. You get a day-by-day schedule before we start, and if anything shifts you hear it from us rather than discovering it.

Will we be without water while you work?

Rarely for long. We stage the work so at least one bathroom and the kitchen stay usable, and any full isolation is agreed with you in advance.

Do you make good the floors and walls?

Yes. Reinstatement is priced into the quote from the start, covering plaster, screed, tiling and any driveway surface we had to open.

Can I see progress while the job runs?

Of course. Your engineer walks you through what was done at the end of each day, and we photograph anything that is about to be closed back up.

Is the finished work guaranteed?

Every project carries a twelve-month guarantee on parts and labour, plus the manufacturer’s own warranty on anything we install.

How do I get a quote for my project?

Send a few photographs and a short description through the contact form. We come back with an indicative range, then arrange a site visit to firm it up.
