How much should I budget for the room itself?<\/h3>

As a rough guide, a living room or bedroom refresh with new paint, lighting and a few key pieces runs from \u00a35,000. Kitchens start around \u00a325,000 fitted and bathrooms around \u00a312,000. We\u2019ll be honest at the first visit if your budget and your wish list don\u2019t match.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Do I have to use your trades?<\/h3>

No. Our drawings are made for any good builder, joiner or decorator. If you don\u2019t have anyone, we can introduce you to people we\u2019ve worked with for years.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Do you mark up furniture and fabrics?<\/h3>

No. We pass our trade discount on to you, usually 10 to 20% off, and charge only the design fee shown.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

How do I pay?<\/h3>

A consultation is paid on the day. For design packages, half the fee when you book and half when we hand over the design pack. Whole-home projects are invoiced monthly.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Can I start with a consultation and do the rest myself?<\/h3>

Yes, and plenty of people do. If you book a bigger package within three months, we take the \u00a3180 off the fee.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

How far do you travel?<\/h3>

Anywhere within 30 miles of Ellingford is included. Further than that, we add travel at 45p a mile, or you can choose the e-design package instead.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

How soon can you start?<\/h3>

Consultations are usually booked within two weeks. Design packages start three to five weeks after you book, depending on the season.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>
