Licenses
Everything in this starter is free to use on the sites you build with it. Here is where each part comes from.
Photos
All photos come from Unsplash and are free to use, including on commercial sites, under the Unsplash License. They are placeholders: swap them for photos of your own salon and team before you launch.
Fonts
Instrument Serif and DM Sans, both from Google Fonts under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Uncoder loads them for you.
Code
The live ‘Open now’ badge is a small script in an HTML element on the home and visit pages; the salon’s hours sit at the top of it. Use and change it on any site you build.
Demo content
Rowan Hair Studio is a made-up salon. The address and postcode are fictional, and the phone number is from the Ofcom range set aside for TV and film, so it never reaches a real person. The reviews are sample text.
