The terms that apply when you use this website or ask Sylvé to design, build or care for your garden.
Using this website
The text, photographs and drawings on this website belong to Sylvé or are used with permission. You may share links to it, but please do not copy its content for commercial use.
Consultations and proposals
Every project starts with an initial consultation. After it we send a written proposal with the scope of work, the timeline and the fees. Work begins only once you have accepted the proposal in writing.
Fees and payment
Design fees are invoiced in stages as set out in the proposal. Build work is invoiced with a deposit before work starts and the balance on completion. Invoices are due within fourteen days.
Plants and materials
Plants supplied and planted by our team are guaranteed through their first growing season, provided the care notes we give you are followed. Natural materials such as stone and timber vary in colour and grain, and weather over time.
Changes and cancellations
You can change the scope of a project at any time; we will confirm any change in cost or timing before carrying it out. If you cancel, you pay for the work done and the materials ordered up to that point.
Maintenance plans
Maintenance plans run month to month and can be ended with thirty days’ notice. Visits missed because of severe weather are rescheduled as soon as conditions allow.
