Full kitchen re-plumb and new appliance circuits<\/h1>

A 1970s kitchen with corroded galvanized supply lines and one overloaded circuit. We re-piped it in PEX and gave the new appliances their own dedicated circuits, in three days, with the family still living at home.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

The problem<\/h2>

The homeowners called about low water pressure at the kitchen sink and a breaker that tripped whenever the dishwasher and microwave ran together. They were about to install new appliances and didn't want to put them on old lines.<\/p>

What we found<\/h2>

The supply lines were original galvanized steel, heavily corroded inside, which explained the pressure drop. The kitchen counters, dishwasher and microwave were all sharing one 15-amp circuit.<\/p>
