The role
A Series B fintech business is growing its platform team and needs a senior backend engineer to own the services that move money between customers and partner banks.
You will work in a team of six, set technical direction for your area and mentor two mid-level engineers. Releases happen several times a day, and on-call is shared fairly and paid.
What you’ll need
- Strong production experience with Go, Kotlin or Java
- Designing and running distributed services on AWS or GCP
- Comfortable owning a service end to end, including on-call
- Clear written communication; most decisions happen in docs

- £70,000 to £85,000 plus 10% bonus
