1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use this website or ask Tarnwell Plumbing to quote for or carry out work. By booking a job you accept them. Anything we agree with you in writing for a particular job takes priority.

2. Estimates and quotes

Estimates given on the phone or through this website are a guide. Before we start, we confirm the price for the work in writing. If we find something that changes the job once we are on site, we explain it and agree any extra cost with you before we go ahead.

3. Appointments

We give you an arrival window and let you know if we are running late. If you need to move or cancel an appointment, please tell us at least 24 hours before it. Emergency callouts are charged from the time we arrive.

4. Access and your property

Please make sure we can reach the work area and that someone over 18 is at home while we work. We protect floors and furniture near the work and leave the area clean, but please move valuables and fragile items before we arrive.

5. Payment

Payment is due when the work is finished, unless we agree otherwise in writing. Larger projects may need a deposit, which we will tell you about in the quote. We accept card, bank transfer and check.

6. Parts and warranty

Parts we supply carry the manufacturer’s warranty. Our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from the date the job is finished. The guarantee does not cover damage from misuse, freezing, work by others, or parts you supplied yourself.

7. Liability

We are fully licensed and insured. We are responsible for loss or damage caused by our work or our team, but not for existing faults in your plumbing that we did not work on, or for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen.

The information on this website is general and may change without notice. Photos show typical work and may not show your job exactly.
